01Do I need any editing skills?

No. You upload, pick a style and approve. Auteur, our AI editing engine, plans, edits, captions and renders the video; you ask for changes in plain words.

02Does makerzz post anything without my approval?

No. A video is only posted after you approve it and choose to publish or schedule it.

03Who owns the videos?

You do. You keep your footage and the finished videos. You're responsible for having the rights to the footage and music you upload.

04Do you train AI on my videos?

No. There's an optional setting that lets us keep your approve / change decisions to improve Auteur later. It's off unless you switch it on in Settings. See the Privacy Policy.

05Is connecting my Instagram account safe?

Yes. You sign in on Instagram's own page and approve access there; we never see your password. Posts and DMs go through the platforms' official APIs, and you can disconnect any time.

06Do I have to show my face?

No. Type a topic or paste a script and pick a style that works without a camera (the animation packs) — Auteur writes the script and voices it. You can also turn screen recordings and clips into a story, or use Just post it for a video you already made.

07Can I add music?

Each style comes with its own music bed and sound effects, which you can turn down or off. If you add your own music, it must be yours or licensed for this use.

08How long does an edit take?

It depends on the length and the style. The project page shows every scene as it's made and the time left. Long-form edits and styles made with our team take longer.

09How do I delete my data?

Email us from your account's address (Settings → Delete account has the link). We delete your account and data by hand, usually within 2 working days. Details in the Privacy Policy.
